All of Life for Christ

Our Mission
to make mature disciples of Jesus who live 'all of life for Christ'.

What we believe
Simply put, we believe in one God of three persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We look to Jesus Christ’s death and resurrection for forgiveness and the sure hope of eternal life. We believe the Bible is God’s authoritative word for all areas of life and practice. The larger Presbyterian understanding of Christianity is summarised in a document called the Westminster Confession of Faith.
Our Vision
Our Vision plan is to under God's soverignty make mature disciples of Jesus who have a gospel-shaped:
Living, Loving & Longing.
At Scots we see ourselves on a journey of growing more like Jesus together as the gospel shapes our living, our loving and our longing.
Living: We desire to be a church where people are connected in with God and his people and growing in Christian maturity. This involves all spheres of life.
Loving: We desire to be a church where people are loving and serving God and one another as they use their gifts for God's glory and others good.
Longing: We desire to be a church where people are partnering with God and other Christians in gospel ministry. We also desire to see people going out with the good news of Jesus in their homes, workplaces, communities & beyond.

Life Groups

At Scots we see ourselves as doing Life together. We have a number of Life Groups which meet during the week at different times and locations. These groups gather in peoples homes and other locations to study God's word, grow in Christian maturity, and really just do life together in the context of a loving Christian community.

Scots Men

Scots men (both young and old) meet regularly throughout the year to encourage one another in the Christian faith and enjoy good fellowship and a meal together.

Scots Women

Scots Women (both young and old) meet regularly throughout the year to encourage one another in the faith and enjoy good company, friendship, food and Bible teaching.

SRE

A number of people serve in SRE in our local public school. This is a great opportunity to share the love of God with young people and make a positive impact on their lives.

Scots Kids

At Scots we value children. We want kids to feel connected to the whole church family so kids begin their Sunday in the church service with their family. Listen out for Scots Kids announcement and then see the Kids stampede off to the Hall!
